WRITER · ARTIST · CHRONIC SIDE QUESTER

HI, I’M KAMILA

I am an artist, writer, chronic side-quester and curious human being. Half-Spanish, half-Polish, and after living in many places and through many places of myself, I am now trying to build my best self between Manchester and Yorkshire, in the English countryside.

My start in life was a bit hard, and even though I couldn’t choose that, I try to choose everything after, and make it magical. And maybe write a book about it.

It’s not where you start. It’s what you build from there.

THE MULTIPASSIONATE LIFE

For years, I tried to find the label that would define me. Writer? Photographer? Designer? Artist? Productivity nerd? Learner? Teacher? I kept being all of them at once, and I kept feeling like that was a problem.

Then I discovered the word multipassionate, and everything clicked. Many interests are my way of staying alive.

Now I write and create art: I cannot say no to any part of me.

WHAT I MAKE

Writing

Essays, newsletter, my journal, the fifteenth draft of a book (maybe this time I will even send it to a publisher). Thinking out loud about the things that matter

Photography

Finding magic in the ordinary through my lens. A camera is like a third arm for me, another way of seeing the world and finding beauty in the ugly.

Art & Design

Using my hands and creating. Made with love in my studio (aka: the right side of my living room). Digital design, illustration, bookbinding… everything has a place here.

The Nerdy Stuff

I create practical systems in Notion for the most productive and curious life, and sometimes, make videos about them on TikTok

THE NEWSLETTER

Muffins and Musings

A COSY CORNER FOR CURIOUS MINDS

I write Muffins and Musings from the Studio: a weekly newsletter and cosy corner for all the curious minds. Each issue has an essay, something I made, and one recommendation that (I hope) feels like a hug

Weekly · Free · Every Monday

This is the place for the curious ones, for the brave ones, the ones who want to become better, to make themselves, their lives and the world better. For those who fight every fight, no matter how hard it is. Those who struggle to find their labels and have too many interests. The ones building a life worth living (and loving!) on their own terms, following their own rules.

…Because if I can do it, everyone can

Love, Kamila
